Scope and Contents

The collection consists of a single Adobe Spark project entitled “Insta Fresh Corona Thyme #COVID19: The Life of an Instacart Shopper During COVID19.” The project includes 11 photographs, with captions, describing a trip to the grocery store Fresh Thyme, while working as a shopper for the grocery delivery service Instacart, near the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic crisis in March 2020. The final photograph also shows damage still being repaired from the May 2019 Dayton tornadoes.

Levitt Luzern Custer Papers

Abstract Levitt Luzern Custer was a Dayton-area aviator and inventor, and an associate of Orville Wright. During his lifetime he engaged in pioneering balloon experiments, served as an official timer for flight trials, collaborated with Orville Wright on various projects, and invented a wide range of mechanical machines from the statoscope to amusement park rides. Garden Club of Dayton Records

Katharine Houk Talbott founded the Garden Club of Dayton in 1922. The Club's goal is to promote and encourage the beautification of not only their privately owned gardens, but also the gardens and environment of Oakwood, Ohio and the surrounding Dayton area. Inland Children's Chorus Collection

The Inland Children’s Chorus was sponsored by the Inland Manufacturing Division of the General Motors Corporation from 1936-1970 and open to children (ages 8-16) of Inland employees. The Chorus was a unique contribution by American industry to young people, the community, and the performing arts. The collection includes programs from their concerts, photographs, books, newspaper and periodical clippings, certificates, and memorabilia all donated by former members of the Chorus.

The John Pirelli Lodge was a chapter of the Società di Mutuo Soccorso (Sons of Italy) established in Dayton soon after the death of its namesake Giovanni “John” Pirelli.
